Banbury Sunday Night Netball - Week 10

In a thrilling week of Netball action, the Banbury Sunday League saw its 10th week of competition in the League division. The pitch was set ablaze with exceptional performances, stunning upsets, and a showcase of remarkable skills and teamwork.

Banbury All Stars met their match against Spice Goals in a hard-fought game, with the latter emerging victorious at 21-11. The stamina and intensity of Spice Goals were indeed a sight to behold, marking a decisive win over their noteworthy opponents.

In one of the most exciting clashes, Untouch-a-Balls overwhelmed Shooting Stars with an impressive score of 25-8. The Untouch-a-Balls dominated the court with their swift movements and impeccable coordination, leaving the Shooting Stars in their wake.

However, the showstopper of the night was the match between Banbury Ballers and Net Set Go. The Ballers took the game by storm, pulling off an astonishing 26-4 victory. Their aggressive gameplay and strategic manoeuvres ensured an overpowering win.

The close encounter between Banbury Shooters and Net Chicks had everyone on the edge of their seats. With the final whistle, it was the Net Chicks who narrowly won by a single point, defeating the Shooters 13-12.

Lastly, Eagles soared high against Fireballs, securing an 18-7 victory. The Eagles displayed an impressive combination of tactical prowess and physical strength, leaving no chance for the Fireballs to recover.

This week’s standout player was Emily Whitehouse-Ford from Net Set Go. Even though her team faced defeat, her stellar performance on the court did not go unnoticed. Emily's incredible skill set and unwavering determination earned her the title of the most valued player of the week.
