Week six of the Banbury Sunday Netball League was packed with great netball, close contests and some fantastic individual performances, making it another enjoyable evening for everyone involved.

One of the standout matches saw Banbury Ballers continue their strong form with a confident 20–3 win over Banbury All Stars. The Ballers worked brilliantly as a team and kept the pressure on throughout the game.

There was plenty of excitement in the close contest between Shooting Stars and Banbury Shooters. Both teams showed strong attacking play and solid defence, with the Shooters just edging it 11–10 in a match where every goal really mattered.

A big talking point of the week was BNT’s impressive 23–2 victory over Net Set Go. It was a fantastic team performance, and a special mention goes to Milly Cuthbert, who was named Player of the Week after an outstanding display on court.

Net Ninjas and Fireballs went head-to-head in a competitive match, with the Ninjas taking the win 17–11. Fireballs showed great determination, but Net Ninjas stayed strong until the final whistle.

Another impressive result came from Net Chicks, who put in a dominant performance against Hoopz, finishing with a 29–1 win and continuing their strong run this season.

Week six highlighted the great mix of teamwork, competition and fun that makes the Banbury Sunday Netball League so enjoyable. With week seven just around the corner, there’s plenty more exciting netball to look forward to!
