Droitwich Spa Monday Netball Update 1st June

Week two of the Droitwich Spa Monday Netball brought another fantastic evening of netball, with plenty of competitive action, great teamwork, and impressive individual performances on display.

The first fixture saw Monday Misfits take on Droitwich Devils. Both teams showed great determination throughout the match, with the Devils ultimately securing an 18-9 victory. The Misfits battled hard from start to finish, while the Devils combined strong defensive play with accurate shooting to earn the win.

In the second game, Droitwich Diamonds faced Rogue Angels. The Diamonds worked tirelessly throughout the contest, but Rogue Angels produced a confident team performance to come away with a 22-6 victory. Their quick passing, effective movement, and clinical finishing helped them secure the points on the night.

One of the standout moments of the evening came from Droitwich Diamonds player Emily Hand. Despite the result, Emily delivered an excellent performance, demonstrating determination, agility, and impressive shooting accuracy. Her efforts earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player of the Week, recognising the positive impact she had throughout the game.

Although the season is still in its early stages, several teams are already showing strong form. Droitwich Devils and Rogue Angels have made an encouraging start, producing some impressive scoring performances in the opening weeks.

With the night continuing to gather momentum, there is plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead. Every team has shown commitment and potential, and as players continue to grow in confidence, fans can expect more exciting matches, memorable moments, and outstanding performances. Will the Devils and Angels continue their strong starts, or will the chasing teams close the gap?
