In a thrilling conclusion to the Manchester Thursday Netball League, the Interceptors clinched the Division 1 championship after an intense 10-week season. The final week of matches saw the top contenders showcase their athletic prowess and strategic acumen, culminating in a series of dramatic and fiercely contested games.

The Interceptors squared off against Court In The Act, the match ending in an adrenaline-fuelled 11 - 11 draw. But, with an impressive tally of 18 points and 8 victories throughout the season, the Interceptors emerged as the undisputed champions of Division 1. Their blend of assured defense, unyielding teamwork, and exceptional scoring made them a formidable force throughout the season.

However, it was Sophie Walsh from Lets Go who stole the spotlight for the week. Delivering an exceptional performance, Sophie demonstrated her versatility on the court with a combination of agility, precision, and a knack for making clutch plays when it mattered most. Her contribution was pivotal in Lets Go's spirited challenge against Tricksters, despite falling short in a 14 - 7 defeat.

Other notable games included Wingin It versus Go Netsetters, which ended in a 12 - 7 victory for the latter. Although the final scores tilted in favor of some, it was clear that every team in Division 1 displayed an admirable level of competitiveness and sportsmanship.
