Congratulations to Court Queens, who were this season’s winners in the Leicester league, and also to runners-up Ellesmere Elites. A big well done as well to Samantha Jennings, who was named this season’s most valued player.

Week 10 of the Leicester Monday netball league brought the season to a close, with some great performances from teams and players throughout. The League saw some closely contested matches and plenty of positive moments on court.

Court Queens finished the season strongly, securing a 20–5 win over Nets Go Girls. This result confirmed them as league champions, with an impressive nine wins from their matches. They have shown consistency and teamwork all season.

In another match, Pivot and Pass earned a 16–4 win against Spice Goals, demonstrating solid teamwork and good movement across the court.

Ellesmere Elites also had a strong performance, winning 14–8 against Fast Break. Their effort and determination were clear throughout the game and across the season.

There were also some excellent individual contributions. Nets Go Girls’ Jennifer Sneller was recognised as the most valued player of the week, with a strong all-round performance and great presence on court.

As the season comes to an end, it’s been great to see the effort, sportsmanship, and enjoyment across all teams. Well done to everyone involved, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another season soon.
