Play in the Leicester Monday Netball League

Week 9 of the Leicester Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of fixtures, with teams continuing to show great effort, teamwork, and improvement on court. The League games were closely contested and full of positive play.

One of the closest matches of the evening saw Ellesmere Elites secure a narrow 13–12 win over Pivot And Pass. It was a well-balanced game, with both teams working hard throughout and showing great determination.

Court Queens also had a strong performance, coming away with a 15–5 result against Fast Break. Both teams showed good effort, with Court Queens making the most of their opportunities on the court.

In another fixture, Nets Go Girls recorded a 10–7 win over Spice Goals. It was a competitive match, with both sides demonstrating teamwork and commitment, making for an entertaining game.

A special mention goes to Victoria Webster from Fast Break, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her contribution, consistency, and positive play stood out and made a real impact during the match.

As the season continues, it’s great to see all teams developing and supporting each other each week. There’s still plenty of netball to be played, and each round brings new opportunities for teams to build on their performances.
