Play in the Leicester Monday Netball League

Week 6 of the Leicester Monday Netball League took place at Ellesmere College on Monday evening, with teams returning to the courts for another round of competitive and enjoyable fixtures. As the season continues, teams are settling into their rhythm and producing strong performances each week, with plenty of effort, teamwork and determination on display across all matches.

The opening fixture of the evening saw Fast Break take on Court Queens. Court Queens delivered a strong performance to secure a 21-11 victory. Both teams worked hard throughout the match, with Court Queens making the most of their opportunities in attack while Fast Break continued to battle until the final whistle. The game was played in good spirit and provided an entertaining start to the night's action.

The second match featured Pivot And Pass against Ellesmere Elites. Ellesmere Elites produced an impressive display to claim a 21-3 win. They moved the ball well across the court and converted their chances effectively, while Pivot And Pass continued to work hard throughout the contest and showed great commitment despite the scoreline. Both teams maintained a positive attitude and contributed to another enjoyable fixture.

The final game of the evening saw Nets Go Girls face Spice Goals. Spice Goals came away with a 12-2 victory after a disciplined team performance. Nets Go Girls continued to compete throughout the match and showed excellent determination, while Spice Goals capitalised on their opportunities to secure the win. The match was played with excellent sportsmanship from both sides and brought the evening's fixtures to a close.

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Fast Break's Elaisa Rokotubuna. Elaisa impressed with her work rate, movement around the court and positive attitude throughout the match. Her contribution was recognised by both teammates and opponents, making her a deserving recipient of the award.

With Week 6 now complete, attention turns to the next round of fixtures. As teams continue to develop and build momentum throughout the season, there is still plenty to play for in the weeks ahead. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Ellesmere College for another evening of competitive, social netball and seeing how the league table develops as the season progresses.
