Week 1 of the Dudley Tuesday Netball League saw teams take to the court for the opening round of fixtures, with another enjoyable evening of netball played in a positive and welcoming environment.

The evening began with Velocity taking on Dudley Dynamos. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment throughout the match, producing an entertaining contest and setting the tone for the season ahead.

The second fixture saw The Terri-balls face Goal Diggers. Both sides approached the game with enthusiasm and energy, displaying determination and sportsmanship throughout. The match was played in excellent spirits and reflected the supportive atmosphere of the league.

Tangtastics then took on Pink Ladies in another competitive encounter. Both teams worked hard across the court, showcasing teamwork and effort throughout an enjoyable fixture. The positive attitude shown by all players contributed to another successful game.

The final match of the evening featured Super Troopers against Pocket Rockets. Both teams demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm throughout the contest, rounding off the opening week with another entertaining display of netball.

Player of the Week

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Sarah Beckett from Dudley Dynamos. Sarah delivered an excellent performance, demonstrating great movement, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the evening. Her contribution was recognised by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.

With Week 1 complete, teams will now look ahead to the next round of fixtures as the new season begins to take shape. The league provides a fantastic opportunity for players to stay active, develop their skills, and enjoy competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
