Week 11 of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball delivered another exciting evening of action, with teams showcasing great skill, teamwork, and determination across a series of entertaining matches.
Cherry Bombs and Netbrawlers opened the night with a closely contested game that kept players and spectators engaged throughout. Both teams battled hard, but Cherry Bombs edged a narrow 11–9 victory after a competitive and spirited performance from both sides.
Game Of Throws also enjoyed a strong evening against Stoke Storm, securing a 23–3 win with an excellent all-round team display. Stoke Storm continued to work hard throughout the match and showed great commitment against a confident Game Of Throws side.
Elsewhere, Flames produced a solid performance to claim a 19–8 victory over The Swans, while Wildcats impressed with a 24–7 win against Goal Diggers, demonstrating great movement and attacking play across the court.
A special mention goes to Sian Fontana of Stoke Storm, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Her energy, determination, and standout effort throughout the evening earned well-deserved recognition and highlighted the positive spirit of the league.
Week 11 once again highlighted the fantastic standard of netball on display in Stoke-on-Trent on Thursday. With every team continuing to compete with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, the season is shaping up for an exciting finish in the weeks ahead.
