Week 12 of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball brought another enjoyable evening of competitive action, with teams delivering plenty of skill, teamwork, and determination across the court.
Cherry Bombs produced a strong performance to secure a 16-5 win over Goal Diggers. Excellent passing and consistent shooting helped Cherry Bombs maintain momentum throughout the match, while Goal Diggers continued to work hard and showed great commitment from start to finish.
Wildcats also enjoyed a positive result, earning a 22-10 victory against The Swans. Both teams brought plenty of energy to the game, with Wildcats demonstrating strong teamwork and attacking play across all areas of the court.
Elsewhere, Flames put in an impressive all-round performance to claim a 21-3 win over Stoke Storm. The team worked well together throughout the match, combining solid defensive pressure with confident attacking play.
The closest contest of the evening saw Netbrawlers narrowly edge past Hotshots in an entertaining 16-14 encounter. Both teams battled hard throughout the game, producing a competitive and exciting match that kept players and supporters engaged until the final whistle.
A special congratulations goes to Beth Lawlor of Netbrawlers, who was named this week’s Player of the Week. Beth’s excellent performance, positive attitude, and contribution across the court played an important role in her team’s success and made her a standout player during the evening’s fixtures.
As the season continues, the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday netball is providing a fantastic showcase of competitive and enjoyable netball. With teams continuing to improve and build momentum each week, there is plenty to look forward to as the season heads towards its closing stages.
