Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball Update 4th June

Week 13 of the Stoke-on-Trent Thursday Netball brought another evening of competitive and entertaining action, with teams continuing to showcase their skill, teamwork, and determination as the season heads towards its final weeks.

The match between Hotshots and Cherry Bombs was a closely contested affair, with Cherry Bombs securing an 11-6 victory. Both teams produced some excellent passages of play, making it an enjoyable game for spectators and a great example of the competitive spirit within the league.

Netbrawlers also put in a strong performance against Game Of Throws, earning a 16-11 win. Both sides battled hard throughout the match, but Netbrawlers were able to maintain their momentum and take the points. A special mention goes to Diane Goodwin of Netbrawlers, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Week. Her excellent all-round performance and contribution to her team's success made her a standout player on the night.

Wildcats enjoyed a successful outing against Stoke Storm, delivering a confident team performance to secure the win. While the result went in Wildcats' favour, Stoke Storm continued to work hard throughout the game and will no doubt take valuable experience and positives into the remaining fixtures.

The final match of the evening saw The Swans overcome Goal Diggers with a 12-6 victory. Both teams showed great effort and commitment, with The Swans demonstrating strong teamwork to secure the result.

With just a few weeks of the season remaining, the night continues to provide exciting netball and closely fought contests. Every team is contributing to a fantastic league campaign, and there is still plenty to play for as the race for the top positions continues. The anticipation is already building for another great round of fixtures next week.
