The games were played with a sense of fun, fostering not only physical well-being but also a real sense of belonging.
The first match of the evening saw the Court Queens take on the Hot Shots. The game ended with the Court Queens scoring 10 to the Hot Shots' 7. Both squads demonstrated exceptional teamwork, with every player contributing to the flow of the game. The camaraderie was palpable and the positive energy kept everyone's spirits high throughout the game. It was a joy to watch and a testament to the spirit of social netball.
Next up, The Goal Getters faced Net-Work It, finishing with a score of 7 to 2 in favour of The Goal Getters. The sportsmanship that both teams displayed was truly admirable. Despite the final score, the game was played with a great sense of fun and the commitment from both sides was evident right up until the final whistle.
A special mention goes to Gaynor Crossan of Net-Work It, who was named this week's Most Valued Player. Gaynor's enthusiasm and movement around the court was simply infectious. Her positive contribution, both in play and in spirit, didn’t go unnoticed, earning her well-deserved recognition from teammates and opponents alike.
