Play in the Market Drayton Monday you play netball league

As the sun set on Monday evening, the Grove School and Sixth Form came alive with a flourish of social netball. Week 10 of the season was an enjoyable gathering for players of all abilities, with a welcoming atmosphere that saw everyone enjoying a great night of netball.

In the first match of the Premier League group, the Sensational Sisters faced off against Net Gains. The game finished with Sensational Sisters scoring 4 and Net Gains close behind with 3. Despite the close score, both teams displayed remarkable teamwork and commitment, their positive energy palpable throughout the court. It was indeed an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

Up next were The Untouchables and Monday Madness. The Untouchables completed the game with a score of 5, while Monday Madness accumulated a score of 3. Both teams showed exceptional sportsmanship, with every player bringing their best energy to the court. The friendly camaraderie was infectious, making for yet another fantastic match.

The Most Valued Player of the week was Amy Glover from Net Gains. Her enthusiasm, coupled with her seamless movement around the court, was a sight to behold. Amy's positive contribution was not only appreciated by her teammates, but also by her opponents, a testament to her impressive sportsmanship.

As this wonderful season of social netball draws to a close, we're already eagerly looking ahead to Week 11. We encourage everyone to join us for another evening of friendly social netball. Whether your goal is to keep active, meet new people, or develop your netball skills, our welcoming community provides a supportive environment for all.

I would like to thank everyone for taking part in this season. Monday Madness has been a shining example of what social netball is all about, leading the Premier League group with a captivating blend of teamwork, energy, and fun. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the court for more netball enjoyment next season.  

A reminder to all ladies, as the new season starts next week can we double check the length of nails and the use of gloves if needed.

Also, can we all be mindful of arriving slightly early for the games to ensure a prompt start for each one.
