In the spirit of fun and fitness, our fantastic community of netball enthusiasts gathered at Cwmbran on Tuesday for their weekly session of Social Netball. Always a lively event, the games epitomized the spirit of friendship and camaraderie that makes the Back to Netball programme so special.
The evening was filled with laughter, cheers, and high-fives, as the League group took to the court. The refreshing charm of these matches lay in the shared love for the game, the joy of movement, and the sense of community.
Among the notable moments, Hoops I Did It Again and 7 Stars shared a game that was an absolute treat to watch. With 19 and 5 goals respectively, both teams showcased their skills with a display of great teamwork and sportsmanship.
Similarly, the match between Worth A Shot and Cwmbran Ravens saw the teams scoring 2 and 13 goals respectively. Lush Ladies and Pocket Rockets also had a blast on court with a vibrant, high-energy game ending in 3 to 9 goals.
In the spirit of recognition, we want to give a shout-out to Caroline Davies from Net It Be. She was the star of the session, not just for her impressive skills, but for her positive contribution on court. Caroline's enthusiasm and sportsmanship are a testament to the true spirit of Back to Netball.
We also saw a fantastic game between Net On With It and Net It Be, with the teams scoring 9 and 3 goals each. Every goal scored was a celebration of effort and teamwork, underlining the essence of Back to Netball - no pressure, just pure fun.
After an evening full of energy and excitement, it was heartening to see the participants leave the court with smiles on their faces, looking forward to the next round of matches. As always, Back to Netball continues to encourage everyone to get back into the game, focusing on fitness, friendship, and fun above all else.
