Cwmbran Tuesday Netball League - Week 12

In the heart of Cwmbran, a delightful evening of friendly competition and camaraderie unfolded at Halo Cwmbran Stadium this past Tuesday. Marking the 12th week of our social netball season, the arena buzzed with an inviting atmosphere, welcoming players of all abilities on this memorable night of the sport we adore.

The first game saw 7 Stars and Lush Ladies grace the court. With a final score of 3-0 in favour of 7 Stars, the game was marked by a fantastic display of teamwork from both sides, filled with commitment and positive energy.

Next up were Pocket Rockets and Net On With It, who ended the game in an exhilarating draw, standing at 9-9. The team spirit was palpable from both sides, with every player contributing their all in a game played in great spirit.

Net It Be and Worth A Shot then took to the pitch. Though Worth A Shot finished the game ahead, with an impressive 18-3, it didn’t diminish the sheer enjoyment and sportsmanship displayed by the Net It Be side.

The final match of the evening featured Cwmbran Ravens and Hoops I Did It Again, ending in a 9-0 score favouring Hoops I Did It Again. Despite the score, Cwmbran Ravens demonstrated commendable resilience and sportsmanship.

A special recognition goes to our Most Valued Player of the week - Caroline Davies from Net It Be. Her enthusiasm, movement around the court, and positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to week 13, we encourage everyone to join us for another evening of social netball, where keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment is the order of the day. With only two weeks of matches left, we invite anyone thinking about joining to come along and experience the joy of social netball firsthand.

Here's to another week of friendly matches, laughter, and the love of netball. See you all on court next week!
