Cwmbran Tuesday Week 8 - 10/3/26

In a thrilling evening of high intensity netball, the Cwmbran Tuesday league saw some unforgettable action in its eighth week. As the season nears its conclusion, the League division teams gave their utmost in an attempt to capture the win.

Our Cwmbran Tuesday League got underway with 7 Stars putting in a strong performance to secure a convincing 9–2 win over Pocket Rockets. 7 Stars found their rhythm early and maintained control throughout the match, building a solid lead as the frames progressed. Pocket Rockets achieved two goals, but 7 Stars proved too consistent on the night, kicking off the evening with an impressive victory.

In another gripping showdown of the season, the clash between Net It Be and One Hit Wonders ended in a hard-fought 2–2 draw. Both teams traded blows throughout the match, with neither side able to gain a decisive advantage. The evenly contested battle kept spectators on the edge of their seats right up until the final whistle, as both teams shared the spoils after an exciting encounter.

The final match of the evening saw Hoops I Did It Again put in a strong all-round performance to defeat Cwmbran Ravens 11–6. Showing great agility and teamwork throughout the contest, they worked well together to build momentum and stay ahead on the scoreboard. Cwmbran Ravens played well and picked up several frames, but Hoops I Did It Again maintained their consistency to close out the night with a solid victory.

Earning the rightful title of the most valued player of the week was Samantha White of One Hit Wonders. Displaying remarkable skill and sportsmanship, Samantha was instrumental in securing the draw for her team, reinforcing her reputation as a formidable force on the court.

With only two weeks left in the season, teams are already vying to secure their spots for the next season, promising another exhilarating round of matches in the future.

As for the top scorers in the Premier League division, Net It Be and Hoops I Did It Again proved their prowess on the offensive end, securing high scores in their respective matches.
