Play in the Cwmbran Tuesday you play netball league!
Week 8 of the Cwmbran Tuesday Netball League brought another evening of great teamwork, impressive performances, and plenty of enjoyable moments on court. Every team showed fantastic spirit and determination, making for an exciting round of matches.
One of the standout games of the night saw Hoops I Did It Again secure a 20-5 victory over Lush Ladies in a fast-paced, high-scoring match. Both teams brought great energy to the court, with Hoops I Did It Again putting together some excellent attacking play.
7 Stars celebrated a brilliant result against Net It Be, taking the game 3-1. It was a fantastic performance that highlighted the team’s growing confidence and development this season.
Worth A Shot also enjoyed a strong performance, overcoming Net On With It 15-10 in an entertaining and closely fought game. Both teams showed great determination and teamwork throughout the match. Net On With It kept the pressure on right until the final whistle, but Worth A Shot’s consistent shooting and solid defensive efforts helped them maintain their lead and secure a well-deserved win.
Pocket Rockets came away with a well-earned 9-6 win over Cwmbran Ravens in a closely contested game. Both teams worked hard throughout, with Pocket Rockets showing strong teamwork in both attack and defence.
A special mention goes to Lush Ladies player Becky Forward, who was named Player of the Week. Her skill, movement, and positive impact on the court were clear to see, making her a deserving recipient of the award.
With the season continuing to unfold, it’s wonderful to see all teams improving and enjoying competitive netball each week. We look forward to seeing what the next round of fixtures will bring!
