Cwmbran Tuesday Week 9 - 26/5/26

Week nine of the Cwmbran Tuesday Netball League brought another evening of fun, fast-paced matches and plenty of great teamwork on court. Every team showed fantastic effort, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the night.

Worth A Shot delivered a strong performance to earn a 9-3 win over 7 Stars, with some excellent teamwork and communication helping them throughout the game. 7 Stars continued to show great spirit and plenty of promise as they look ahead to the coming weeks.

One of the closest games of the evening saw Net On With It and Hoops I Did It Again battle it out in an exciting 10-10 draw. Both teams played brilliantly, matching each other throughout the game and keeping supporters entertained until the final whistle.

Lush Ladies and Cwmbran Ravens also shared a closely contested match, with Lush Ladies just edging ahead to take a 12-10 victory. The Ravens put in a fantastic performance and pushed their opponents all the way in a great game to watch.

The final match of the night between Pocket Rockets and Net It Be was another closely fought contest, with Net It Be narrowly securing an 11-10 win. Pocket Rockets can still take plenty of positives from the game, especially with Stevie Newby earning this week’s Most Valued Player award after an impressive individual performance.

With more exciting fixtures still to come, teams and supporters alike are looking forward to another enjoyable week of netball action.
