Season Concludes in Style at the Hinckley Sunday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball

The final week of the Hinckley Sunday Netball League delivered an exciting conclusion to a fantastic season, with teams giving their all in a series of competitive and entertaining matches. Throughout the season, players have demonstrated incredible commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and the final round of fixtures was a fitting way to bring another memorable campaign to a close.

In Division 1, Burbage Ballers and Phoenix Flyers produced an enjoyable contest, with both teams displaying great determination and skill throughout the match. The game featured some excellent passages of play and highlighted the quality of netball that has been on show all season.

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars and Netchicks Season 2 played out a thrilling draw in one of the most exciting matches of the evening. Both teams battled hard from start to finish, producing a closely fought encounter that kept everyone watching engaged until the final whistle. The result was enough to see Shooting Stars crowned Division 1 champions, capping off an excellent season in which they consistently delivered strong performances and showed great resilience under pressure.

In Division 2, Pitch Slaps finished their campaign in impressive fashion with another strong team performance. Their excellent teamwork, communication, and consistency throughout the season helped them secure top spot and become Division 2 champions. It has been a deserved reward for a team that has worked hard week after week and maintained high standards throughout the campaign.

Shoot For It and Pink Ladies also produced an entertaining fixture, with both teams showing plenty of effort and determination. A special congratulations goes to Kirsty Seal of Shoot For It, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Week. Kirsty's outstanding performance, positive attitude, and contribution on court made her a deserving recipient of the award and a fantastic representative of everything the league stands for.

The final fixture between Take A Shot and Nets Get Into The Groove provided yet more excitement, with both teams producing a closely contested game that perfectly reflected the competitive nature of the league.

As the season comes to an end, we would like to congratulate Shooting Stars on winning Division 1 and Pitch Slaps on securing the Division 2 title. Both teams have shown exceptional commitment, teamwork, and consistency throughout the season and are worthy champions.

The league would also like to thank all players, team captains, supporters, and especially our umpires, whose dedication and hard work make the competition possible each week. We would like to remind everyone of the importance of respecting officials at all times. Umpires play a vital role in ensuring games are played fairly and in the right spirit, and their efforts are greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

Finally, thank you to all teams for making this season such a success. The enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and sense of community shown throughout the league have been fantastic to see. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting season of netball and wish all players a well-earned break until then.
