Hinckley Sunday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball – Week 9 Round-Up

Another fantastic evening of netball took place this week in the Hinckley Sunday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, as teams took to the court for Week 9 of the season. With plenty of determination, teamwork and competitive spirit on display, players and supporters were treated to an exciting night of action under the floodlights.

Shooting Stars continued their strong form with an impressive performance against Burbage Ballers, showcasing great movement and teamwork throughout the match.

Warrior Queens and Phoenix Flyers delivered a competitive contest, with both teams battling hard from start to finish. Warrior Queens were able to make the most of their opportunities and secure a positive result after an entertaining game.

Netchicks Season 2 and Flames also produced a closely fought encounter, with both sides demonstrating excellent effort and commitment. It was a match full of energy and determination that kept everyone engaged until the final whistle.

Elsewhere, Shoot For It enjoyed a successful outing against Hit Me With Your Best Shot, while Pitch Slaps put in a confident performance against Take A Shot.

One of the standout games of the evening saw Pink Ladies! take on Nets Get Into The Groove in a highly competitive match. Both teams played some excellent netball and provided spectators with plenty of exciting moments throughout.

A special congratulations goes to Laura Dyer from Take A Shot, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her outstanding effort, attitude and performance on court made her a deserving recipient of the award.

As the season continues, every week brings new challenges and opportunities for teams to build momentum. With so many competitive fixtures and strong performances across the league, there's plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
