Colchester Wednesday Week 6 - 20/5/26

Week 6 of the Colchester Wednesday Netball League brought another fun evening of great teamwork, close games, and plenty of memorable moments across the League division. With teams continuing to build momentum, the atmosphere around the court was full of energy and encouragement.

One of the standout results of the evening saw Can’t Be Passed put in a strong performance against Pass With Sass, coming away with an impressive 8-1 win. Their teamwork and determination really shone throughout the match.

Fierce Flyers also had a fantastic game, delivering a confident and well-coordinated performance against Smack That Pass to secure a 13-0 victory. Their communication and movement around the court made for an exciting match to watch.

Another closely fought game saw Just Go With It edge past Get Your Shot Together with a 4-2 win. Both teams battled hard, but Just Go With It kept their composure in key moments to take the result.

Despite the result for her team, Amy Allen from Smack That Pass was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week for her excellent effort, skill, and positive sportsmanship on court.

Fierce Flyers also finished the week as the division’s top scorers, giving them plenty of confidence heading into the next round of fixtures.

With every team continuing to improve and support one another, the Colchester Wednesday Netball League is shaping up to be a brilliant season. Everyone will be looking forward to seeing what next week’s matches bring.
