Week 8 of the Hucknall Tuesday Netball League saw another enjoyable evening of action at Hucknall Leisure Centre, with teams continuing to compete in a positive and welcoming environment.
The evening began with Hoopsy Daisys taking on Phoenix in a competitive fixture. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment throughout the match, creating an entertaining contest and setting the tone for the night's action.
Winging It then faced Netsetters in the second game of the evening. Both sides worked hard across the court, displaying good organisation, determination, and teamwork throughout a closely contested encounter. The match reflected the competitive yet friendly spirit of the league.
The final fixture of the evening saw Hotshots take on Nets Go Girls. Both teams approached the game with enthusiasm and energy, contributing to another enjoyable contest. The effort and sportsmanship shown by all players helped bring another successful evening of netball to a close.
This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Kathryn Smith from Hoopsy Daisys. Kathryn delivered an excellent performance, demonstrating great movement, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the evening. Her contribution was recognised by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving recipient of the award.
With Week 8 complete, teams will now look ahead to the next round of fixtures as the season enters its final stages. The league continues to provide a fantastic opportunity for players to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
