Week 6 of the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball brought another fantastic evening of action, with teams producing plenty of exciting moments, great teamwork, and impressive performances across the court.
One of the standout matches of the night saw In Formation take on Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. In Formation delivered a strong all-round team performance to secure a 21–5 victory, showing excellent movement and confidence throughout the game. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun kept going until the final whistle and a special mention goes to Lili Gibson, who was named Most Valued Player of the week for her display of skill, energy, and teamwork.
Give Us A Shot also enjoyed a positive evening, earning a 10–0 win against Never Give Up. The match highlighted Give Us A Shot’s strong teamwork and consistency, while Never Give Up continued to show determination and a positive attitude throughout.
The clash between Total Meltdown and Melton Mavericks proved to be one of the closest contests of the week. In a tightly fought game filled with effort from both sides, Total Meltdown narrowly edged the result 8–7 in an exciting finish.
The Fun Bunch rounded off the evening with an 8–2 victory over Rule Breakers, combining solid teamwork and good communication to produce another strong performance.
Week 6 once again highlighted the enthusiasm, skill, and competitive spirit that make the Melton Mowbray Tuesday Netball such an enjoyable competition. With the season continuing to build momentum, there’s plenty more exciting netball still to come in the weeks ahead.
