Kidderminster Sunday Social Netball League – Week 4 Round-Up

Week 4 of the Kidderminster Sunday Social Netball League took place at KDYT, with teams returning to the court for another evening of competitive and enjoyable netball. As the season continues to take shape, players once again demonstrated strong teamwork, determination and sportsmanship across the evening's fixtures.

League Results

Seven Sisters 18–11 In The Zone

The opening match of the evening saw Seven Sisters face In The Zone in a closely contested game. Both teams started positively and produced some good passages of play throughout the court.

Seven Sisters were able to maintain a slight advantage for much of the match, moving the ball effectively through the middle third and making the most of their opportunities in the shooting circle. In The Zone remained competitive throughout and continued to apply pressure, but Seven Sisters managed the game well to secure an 18–11 victory.

The match was played in excellent spirit, with both teams showing commitment and support for one another from start to finish.

Take The Shot 17–3 Nets Go Girl

The second fixture of the evening saw Take The Shot take on Nets Go Girl. Take The Shot produced a strong all-round performance to record a 17–3 victory.

Their defence worked hard to limit scoring opportunities, while their attack converted chances consistently throughout the game. Nets Go Girl continued to battle and showed great effort despite the scoreline, maintaining a positive attitude and working hard until the final whistle.

As with the first game of the evening, both teams displayed the sportsmanship and teamwork that make the league such an enjoyable competition to be part of.

Most Valued Player

Congratulations to Harriet Lloyd of In The Zone, who was named Week 4's Most Valued Player.

Harriet delivered an impressive individual performance and made a significant contribution throughout her match. Her movement, work rate and commitment stood out on the night, while her positive attitude and encouragement of teammates earned recognition from players across the league.

Week 4 Summary

With four weeks of the season now complete, teams are beginning to settle into their rhythms and build momentum heading into the middle stages of the campaign. Every week continues to provide players with the opportunity to enjoy competitive netball in a friendly and welcoming environment, whether they are returning to the sport or playing regularly.

There was plenty of effort and determination on display throughout the evening, with all teams contributing to another successful night of social netball at KDYT.

Attention now turns to Week 5, where teams will be looking to continue their progress and add more points to their season totals.
