Birmingham Wednesday Netball Update - Week 1

The Birmingham Wednesday Netball League powered by Leisure Leagues got off to a fantastic start this week, with plenty of fun, energy, and great teamwork on display across all of the matches.

Pocket Rockets started their season with a strong 11-5 win against Goal Diggers, while Rednal Roses matched that result with an 11-5 victory over Chafing Dreams in another enjoyable game.

Incredi-balls put in a brilliant team performance to secure a 17-9 win over Game Of Throws, and Spice Goals rounded off the evening with an impressive 30-5 result against Ballin Baddies.

A special shoutout goes to Abbey Carter from Game Of Throws, who picked up Player of the Week thanks to her excellent all-round performance, positive attitude, and determination throughout the match.

It was great to see so many players enjoying the opening night, with lots of encouragement, teamwork, and friendly competition across the courts. With such a positive start to the season, there’s plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
