Abergavenny Thursday Netball League - Week 2

It was another delightful evening at King Henry VIII 3-19 School for the second week of our social netball season. The welcoming atmosphere of the school's sports ground was filled with laughter and cheers as players of all experience levels had a fantastic time participating in an evening of friendly netball matches.

The first match of the evening saw the Netty McNet Face team take on The Net-Works. Each team showed impressive teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the game. The positive energy on the court was undeniable, and all players thoroughly enjoyed the game that ended with Netty McNet Face coming away with a score of 14-11.

The second match brought together the Welsh Rarebits and the Unstoppables. Yet another game played in great spirit, it was proof that netball is indeed a sport that brings people together. After a heartwarming display of sportsmanship and team effort, the Unstoppables secured a tight victory with a score of 7-6.

A special mention needs to be made for the Most Valued Player of the week, Kate Screen from Netty McNet Face. Her enthusiasm and constant movement around the court were admired by all. Her positive contribution to the game did not go unnoticed, and was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead, we can't wait for the third week of our social netball season. We look forward to another fun-filled evening of staying active, making new friends, and further developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. As always, we're all here for the love of the game and the camaraderie that comes with it. The spirit of Back to Netball is alive and well here, and we can't wait to see you all next week!
