Another exciting evening of action took place this week in the Kettering Sunday Netball League as teams returned to the court for week four of the season. With players continuing to build momentum and confidence, the League once again delivered a fantastic standard of netball, filled with teamwork, determination, and competitive spirit.

As the season begins to take shape, every fixture is becoming increasingly important, with teams eager to climb the League table and continue improving week by week. Spectators were treated to several entertaining matches, with players producing strong performances across both attack and defence.

The evening began with Ghostbusters taking on Hoop Stars in a closely contested match. Ghostbusters produced a composed and disciplined performance to secure an 8-4 victory. Their organisation across the court and ability to make the most of their scoring opportunities proved important in helping them maintain control of the game.

Hoop Stars continued to work hard throughout the match and showed plenty of determination from start to finish. The team remained positive and competitive despite the result, demonstrating excellent effort and teamwork throughout the evening.

Another standout fixture saw Kiss My Pass face Goal Diggers in an energetic and fast-paced encounter. Kiss My Pass delivered one of the strongest performances of the night, securing an impressive 19-4 victory. Their movement through the court, accurate shooting, and strong communication helped them build momentum early in the game and maintain it throughout.

The team worked well together in all areas of the court, combining effective attacking play with disciplined defending to produce a confident overall performance. Their consistency and teamwork continue to make them one of the sides to watch as the season progresses.

Although Goal Diggers faced a difficult challenge, the team continued to show resilience and commitment throughout the game. A special mention goes to Nyasha Kangausaru, who was named Most Valued Player of the week following an excellent individual performance. Nyasha stood out with her energy, determination, and positive attitude on court, while continuing to work hard for her team from the opening whistle to the final moments of the match.

One of the most encouraging aspects of the Kettering Sunday Netball League this season has been the positive atmosphere created by all teams involved.
