In an exciting conclusion to the Droylsden Thursday Netball League, Pivot Grigio finished top of the League Division after another strong performance in the final round of fixtures.

Week 14 showcased plenty of skill, determination, and teamwork across the League. Pivot Grigio secured a convincing 22-5 win over Lionesses to round off an impressive season. Thunderstruck and Get Net Or Die Tryin’ played out one of the closest matches of the night, with Thunderstruck just edging the contest 15-14 in a hard-fought encounter.

The standout player of the week was Kim Littler from Get Net Or Die Tryin’. Despite the narrow defeat, her excellent display earned her the Most Valued Player award in recognition of her outstanding effort and impact on court.

Elsewhere in the division, Kiss My Pass recorded a 10-1 victory against Headliners. Strong teamwork and consistent play across the court helped Kiss My Pass control the game and finish their season positively.

Ctrl Alt Defeat also ended the campaign on a high with a solid 14-3 win over Zero Chill, demonstrating great communication and composure throughout the match.

Pivot Grigio’s consistency throughout the season saw them finish with 28 points from 14 wins, earning them the League title after a fantastic campaign.

As another successful season of the Droylsden Thursday Netball League comes to a close, teams will now enjoy a well-earned break before returning for the next season. Congratulations to Pivot Grigio and to all teams involved for their commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the league.
