Another fantastic evening of netball took place in the Loughborough Sunday League this week, with plenty of great teamwork, impressive performances, and lots of fun on court as teams returned for week 9.
Luffly Ladies put in a brilliant performance against Netflicks & Skills, showing great movement and communication throughout the game to secure a 30-3 win. Goal Diggers also had a strong outing, working well together to come away with a 27-7 victory over Lough Struck.
One of the closest games of the evening came between Ball Handlers and Trix & Shots, with just a single goal separating the teams in an exciting match that finished 18-17 to Trix & Shots. Both teams played with great energy right until the final whistle.
Pass And Sass had a high-scoring game against Sunday Best, but despite the result, Sunday Best’s Emily Binns stood out with an excellent individual performance and was recognised as the player of the week for her effort and determination on court.
A big well done to all teams for another enjoyable week of social netball. With week 10 just around the corner, there’s plenty more action, laughter, and great netball still to come.
