Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball Update 28th May

The Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball continued with another exciting evening of fixtures as teams took to the court for Week 6 of the season. Once again the night delivered a series of competitive matches filled with teamwork, determination, and great netball.

D Linquents and Vale Queens played out an entertaining contest, with D Linquents securing a well-earned 13-8 victory. Both teams showed excellent effort throughout the match, with strong defensive play and positive attacking movement making for an enjoyable game to watch.

Another closely fought fixture saw The Shooters edge past Meon Warriors in a high-scoring encounter, finishing 23-20. Both sides produced some excellent passages of play and kept the game competitive right until the final whistle, providing plenty of excitement for players and supporters alike.

The evening’s final match between Netchix and The Chillies was another closely contested battle, with Netchix narrowly taking the win 15-13. Both teams showed great spirit and resilience throughout the game in one of the standout matches of the night.

A special congratulations goes to Deborah Michael of Netchix, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Deborah delivered an excellent all-round performance, making a significant contribution to her team with her skill, energy, and teamwork on court.

As the season continues, the Stratford Upon Avon Thursday netball is proving to be a fantastic showcase of competitive and enjoyable netball. Every team continues to bring enthusiasm and commitment each week, and with plenty of fixtures still to come, there is lots to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
