Week 2 of the Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Night Netball brought another enjoyable evening of competitive and entertaining matches, with every team showing great effort and enthusiasm on court.
The games were closely contested and full of quality play. The D Linquents and the Netchix delivered a thrilling, end-to-end match, with Netchix just edging it 16–15. It was a fantastic display from both sides, highlighting the strong level of competition in the league.
Meon Warriors took on The Chillies in another engaging fixture. Both teams played with determination and energy, with The Chillies securing a 16–13 win. The Warriors put in a strong performance and will no doubt take plenty of positives into the coming weeks.
The Vale Queens faced The Shooters in the final game of the evening. It was a lively contest with some great defensive work and confident shooting, and The Shooters came away with a 16–13 victory. The Queens also showed great promise and continued to build momentum as the season progresses.
Across all matches, there were plenty of impressive moments and encouraging performances.
With the season still in its early stages, it’s great to see such competitive spirit and teamwork across the night. There’s plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead as teams continue to grow and the league table begins to take shape.
