Before we go in to the results from this week, can we remind all players that jewellery must be removed and nails cut short or gloves worn. Failure to do so could result in the umpires refusing to allow you on court so please be prepared.
In the spirit of camaraderie, fitness, and the sheer joy of netball, the latest Social Netball matches took place this Tuesday at the Mildenhall courts. Part of the heartwarming Back to Netball programme, the games were not only a testament to the enthusiasm of the participants but also their commitment to making the most of the sport they love.
In the friendly group fondly named Premier League, Team Tornadoes and Smart Passes showcased a fantastic combination of teamwork and sportsmanship. Team Tornadoes managed to score 9 goals while Smart Passes secured 2. Every player worked tirelessly, each goal was met with cheers, and every play was about having a good time.
In a separate friendly meet, Stormers and Ball Busters played with an infectious energy that drew smiles from everyone present. Stormers delighted us with 4 goals while Ball Busters celebrated 6 goals, each one an example of enthusiastic teamwork.
Catherine Dempsey from Smart Passes deserves a special shout-out for her outstanding contribution on the court. Her positive energy, dedication, and sportsmanship truly captured the essence of what these Social Netball matches are all about.
