In the heart of Urmston, beneath the twinkling evening lights, an evening of social netball was enjoyed by all at Move Urmston. A warm and welcoming atmosphere filled the air this week, with players of all experience levels delightfully basking in the spirit of the game.
The first match saw the Urmston Stormers facing off against the Shot Callers. The Shot Callers displayed beautiful teamwork, finishing the game with a score of 10-8, whilst the Stormers demonstrated great commitment and sportsmanship, never letting their positive energy wane. It was truly an enjoyable game, played with a lot of heart and spirit.
Next up were the Golden Girls and the Net Workers. With a final score of 12-3 in favour of the Golden Girls, the match was an exhibition of true sportsmanship and teamwork. Despite the scoreline, the Net Workers kept their spirits high, embodying the essence of friendly, social netball.
A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Hannah Moran from Net Workers. Her enthusiasm was infectious, her movement around the court was a joy to behold, and her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
