Peterborough Sunday Netball League - Week 8

In an exhilarating display of skill, agility and teamwork, the Peterborough Sunday Netball league unfolded last night, kicking off the 8th week of the season with some nail-biting action. The League, a division that has become known for its fierce competition and high-intensity matches, was the highlight of the evening.

The first match saw Chaos In Trainers narrowly defeated by Blue Stars, with a final score of 9-11. Grace Beaney, an exceptional player from Blue Stars, stood out with her mesmerizing footwork and precise shooting skills, earning her the title of Most Valued Player of the week.

Close on their heels was Fast And Fierce against Shot Callers, with the former edging out a victory with a score of 5-4. This nerve-wracking showdown had everyone on the edge of their seats till the final whistle.

Lastly, in a head-to-head match, Cherry Bombs faced What A Catch, a clash that ended with a slim margin victory for What A Catch with a score of 6-5.

With just two weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up. Teams are fighting to secure their place in the league next season, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see which teams will come out on top.

Additionally, the top scorers for League have shown remarkable consistency and prowess on the court, adding another layer of excitement to the close of the season.
