Bromsgrove Wednesday Social Netball news 2026-06-10
The weather held over Bromsgrove this Wednesday, as our passionate players took to the courts for another fun-filled week of Social Netball. A part of the Back to Netball programme, this initiative is all about rediscovering the joy of the game, focusing on fitness, friendship, and reigniting our love for this fantastic sport.
In the Premier League Group, we saw a kaleidoscope of skill, camaraderie and enthusiasm. Hoops A Daisies and Bromsgrove Snatchers put on an energetic performance, ending with 21 goals for the Snatchers and 3 for Hoops A Daisies. Yet the numbers on the scoreboard were no match for the smiles on everyone's faces! Net Chixs and Game Of Throws followed suit, with the Throws celebrating 18 goals and the Chixs 6.
Sweaty Betty's and Not Fast But Furious displayed excellent teamwork in their dynamic game, securing 14 and 4 goals respectively. Our friends 'A Little Rusty' and Goal Diggers also put on a great show, with 15 goals for 'A Little Rusty' and 6 for the Goal Diggers.
Speaking of Goal Diggers, a big shout-out goes to one of their star players, Hannah Branch. Hannah was highlighted as the player of this session for her positive contribution on court. Her energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit truly embody the spirit of Back to Netball.
