Burntwood Wednesday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball – Social Netball Round-Up

Another fantastic evening of social netball took place this week in the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, as players came together to enjoy an evening full of fun, fitness and friendship.

The courts were buzzing with energy, laughter and encouragement as teams took part in a series of enjoyable matches. It was great to see so many players supporting one another, building confidence and enjoying the social side of the game in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Pink Ladies and Burntwood Beaters kicked off the evening with plenty of enthusiasm, while Swamp Donkeys and Burntwood Netters showcased excellent teamwork and commitment throughout their match.

Sista Squad and Chasers enjoyed an entertaining game filled with positive energy and encouragement, while Shot Callers and Cheeky Chasers produced another enjoyable contest that highlighted the great spirit of the league.

Pocket Rockets and Hoop There It Is also took to the court for a fun and competitive match, with both teams displaying fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship throughout.

A special congratulations goes to Amelia Townsend of Pocket Rockets, who was named Player of the Session. Amelia's positive attitude, teamwork and encouragement of others made her a deserving recipient of the award and perfectly reflected the values of social netball.

The evening was rounded off by Netball Ninjas and Kiss My Pass, who both demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and team spirit, contributing to another successful session.

Most importantly, the evening was about getting active, enjoying netball and spending time with friends old and new. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and such a supportive atmosphere across all the courts.
