Nottingham Thursday night netball - end of season

Week 18 of the Nottingham Thursday Netball League brought the season to a close, with teams taking to the court for an enjoyable and competitive final round of fixtures. There was a great atmosphere throughout the evening, particularly in the League, where teams showed plenty of effort and teamwork.

Trent Tricksters finished their season on a high, securing top spot with a strong overall record of 35 points and 17 wins. They ended with a well-earned 13-7 win against The Bibberinos, rounding off a consistently positive season.

Congratulations to Trent Tricksters this seasons winners in the Nottingham Thursday league and the runners up Bibberinos annd a huge well done to out player of the season Clare Powers from The A Team.

Elsewhere, Amazeballs put in a determined performance but were edged out by The Cosmic Creepers, who secured a 12-3 victory. Net Assets also had a good game, producing a confident 15-2 result against The A Team.

Across the League, players demonstrated great skill and commitment, with some impressive shooting and teamwork on display. It’s been encouraging to see the progress and effort from all teams over the course of the season.

With the season now complete, teams will have the opportunity to rest and prepare before returning for more action next season. Well done to all teams for their participation, and congratulations to Trent Tricksters on finishing top of the League.
