Week two of the Nottingham Thursday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams continuing to build momentum early in the season.

Amazeballs and Net Assets were among the highest scorers on the night, each putting in strong performances. Amazeballs secured a 7-2 win over Notts Netters, while Net Assets matched that scoreline with a solid result against Net It!, highlighting a positive start for both teams in the league.

The Bibberinos delivered one of the standout performances of the evening, earning a 19-2 win against Hoopsy Daisy. Their teamwork and finishing made a real impact and set a strong tone for the weeks ahead.

Trent Tricksters and The Cosmic Creepers played out a closely contested match, with Trent Tricksters just edging it 8-6 in an entertaining and competitive game.

A special mention goes to Jade Fisher from Notts Netters, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her effort, attitude and performance stood out, showing great determination throughout the match.

As the season continues, it’s great to see teams settling in and enjoying their netball. With more games to come, there’s plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.
