Play in the Gloucester Sunday netball league
Congratulations to Pitch Slap, who are this season’s winners in the Gloucester league. Well done also to our runners-up, Netball Ninjas, and a special mention to Ellie Mercer, who was named most valued player of the season.
As the final whistle blew on the Gloucester Sunday netball league, it marked the end of an exciting and closely contested season. After 14 weeks of fixtures, Pitch Slap finished at the top of the league with an impressive total of 27 points and 13 wins.
The final matches of the season brought plenty of enjoyable moments, with Pitch Slap securing a 15–8 win over Throw And Go, showing great teamwork and consistency.
Ball Busters and Goal Diggers also played out a well-balanced 12–12 draw, with both teams showing determination and good sportsmanship throughout.
This week’s standout player was Bryher Gall from Ball Of Fame, who was named most valued player of the week. Gall’s performances have been a key part of her team’s efforts this season, with her awareness and reading of the game making a real difference on court.
As the season comes to a close, there is plenty to reflect on and look forward to. The league has seen strong performances, positive competition, and a great sense of community, setting things up nicely for next season.
