WEEK 3 OF THE GLOUCESTER SUNDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

Week three of the Gloucester Sunday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams continuing to build momentum and confidence—especially in the League.

In one of the games, Pitch Slap delivered a strong performance to overcome Ball Busters 19-6. Ball Busters worked hard throughout, but Pitch Slap’s movement and finishing made the difference on the night.

Elsewhere, Net Ninjas earned a well-deserved 13-8 win against Throw And Go. It was a competitive match, with both teams showing good passages of play, while Net Ninjas’ defensive efforts helped them maintain their advantage.

Another notable fixture saw Goal Diggers take on Ball Of Fame, with Goal Diggers coming out on top 21-7. They showed good consistency across the court, although Ball Of Fame continued to battle and look for opportunities.

Ball Of Fame also had a standout performer in Anne Palmer, who was named Player of the Week. Her contribution and determination were clear throughout the match and provided a real positive for her team.

As the league moves into week four, teams will be looking to keep improving and enjoying their netball. There’s plenty still to play for, and the League continues to offer competitive and entertaining games each week.
