Gloucester Sunday social netball update 24th May

In an electrifying week six of the Gloucester Sunday Social Netball League, we saw some intense clashes and impressive performances in the Premier League division. The struggle for supremacy was palpable, as teams faced off in a series of nail-biting encounters.

The top scorers and the shock of the evening came from the Goal Diggers, who took the victory with a remarkable 19-5 triumph over the Net Ninjas. Their assertive offensive play and stalwart defence have undoubtedly sent a wave of anxiety through their rivals as we move deeper into the season.

Pitch Slap also made a grand statement, outplaying Ball Of Fame with a fine 16-6 victory. Their strategic maneuvering and excellent teamwork were on full display, as they continued their strong run this season.

However, the most closely contested match of the evening was between Ball Busters and Throw And Go, with the latter edging out a thrilling 11-8 victory. The match was a testament to the high level of competition in the Premier League division, as both teams fought tooth and nail for every point.

The star of the week, however, was the tenacious Heidi Clutterbuck of Ball Busters. Despite her team's narrow loss, Clutterbuck's exceptional performance on the court was a highlight of the evening and earned her the well-deserved title of the Most Valued Player.
