Week 11 of the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, laughter and great moments shared across the courts.
Goal Patrol and Game Of Throws treated everyone to a closely contested match, with both teams showing great energy and teamwork throughout. Goal Patrol found some lovely rhythm and finished with an 11-7 scoreline, but both sides can be proud of their efforts and the positive spirit they brought to the game.
Coity Cobras and Goals Aloud also enjoyed a lively contest, with Coity Cobras putting together some excellent passages of play to finish with a 25-6 score. Goals Aloud continued to work hard and support one another right until the final whistle, contributing to another enjoyable evening of netball.
A special congratulations goes to Rhiannon Isaac from Coity Cobras, who was named Player of the Week. Rhiannon's enthusiasm, awareness and all-round contribution on court made her a deserving recipient of the award.
One of the things that makes the Bridgend Sunday League so special is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Players of all abilities come together each week to enjoy the game, keep active and catch up with teammates and friends.
