Another Enjoyable Evening in the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League

Week 12 of the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League at Pencoed Comprehensive School brought another fun evening of netball, with players of all abilities coming together to enjoy the game in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Nets In The City and Coity Cobras got the evening underway with plenty of enthusiasm and teamwork on display. Coity Cobras found some lovely rhythm and finished with 40 goals, while Nets In The City continued to support and encourage one another throughout, making it another enjoyable game for everyone involved.

The second game of the evening saw Netballerz and Goals Aloud share a closely contested match. Both teams worked hard and played with great spirit, with the game finishing all square at 5-5 in an entertaining encounter.

A special congratulations goes to Lauren Jones from Netballerz, who was named Player of the Week. Lauren's enthusiasm, energy and movement around the court made her a deserving recipient of the award, with her positive contribution appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

With just two weeks remaining in the season, there's still plenty of netball to look forward to. The Bridgend Sunday league continues to provide a fun and supportive environment where players can stay active, meet new people and enjoy the game they love.
