Pershore Wednesday Netball Update 27th May

The Pershore Wednesday Night Netball continued to deliver another exciting evening of action as teams competed in the penultimate week of the season. With the campaign nearing its conclusion, teams brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and determination to the court.

Pershore Pic N Mix produced a strong performance against Pocket Rockets, securing a well-earned 14-5 victory. Both teams showed great commitment throughout the match, with Pic N Mix displaying excellent teamwork and consistency across the court.

Another closely contested game saw Hooper’s take on Killer Queens in an entertaining and competitive fixture. Both sides battled hard from start to finish, with Hooper’s narrowly claiming a 15-12 win in a match that kept players and supporters engaged throughout.

A special congratulations goes to Pippa Fairchild of Killer Queens, who was named this week’s Most Valuable Player. Pippa delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating great skill, effort, and positivity on court, and was a standout player during the evening’s matches.

With just two weeks remaining in the season, excitement continues to build as teams prepare for the final round of fixtures. The night has once again showcased fantastic netball, sportsmanship, and a welcoming atmosphere for players of all abilities.

There is also still an opportunity for new players to get involved next season and enjoy being part of the fun, friendly, and competitive environment the league offers each week.

As the season heads towards its conclusion, teams such as Pershore Pic N Mix and Hooper’s continue to impress with strong performances and excellent scoring displays. We look forward to seeing how the final weeks unfold and celebrating more great netball ahead!
