Week 8 of the Nantwich Thursday Netball League delivered another enjoyable evening of play, with teams demonstrating great effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm across all fixtures. Players and spectators were treated to a series of competitive matches that reflected the positive spirit of the league.

Winging It got their evening off to a strong start with a 22–12 win over Put A Donk On It. Winging It moved the ball well and made the most of their scoring opportunities, while Put A Donk On It continued to show determination and commitment throughout the match.

Red Falcons faced Hoop There It Is! in a lively contest, with Hoop There It Is! finding good momentum to secure an 18–7 win. Their organised defence and effective attacking play made the difference, while Red Falcons kept working hard and will take valuable experience from the game.

Shots And Giggles enjoyed a positive outing with a 24–12 victory against Court Slayers. Consistent shooting and strong teamwork helped them build confidence as the match progressed, much to the delight of their supporters.

The final fixture saw We Don’t Give A Shot claim a 17–2 win over Wildcats. Both teams showed great effort, with We Don’t Give A Shot maintaining steady control and Wildcats continuing to battle right to the final whistle.

A standout performance on the night came from Helen Yarwood of Shots And Giggles, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Week. Her all-round contribution, including sharp interceptions, accurate passing, and composed shooting, made a real impact on the game.
