Week 5 of the Dursley Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, determination, and great individual performances on display across the court.

One of the closest games of the night saw Cherry Bombs take on Nock-tails in a tightly contested match. Both teams played with great energy and commitment throughout, with Cherry Bombs just edging the game 6–5 in an exciting finish. It was a fantastic effort from both sides and a great example of the competitive but friendly spirit of the league.

Another entertaining match saw Dursley Dolls face Pivot N Pass. Both teams worked hard across the court, with Dursley Dolls securing an 8–4 win thanks to some strong teamwork and consistent play. The result keeps them in good form as the season continues.

A special mention goes to Emily Corbett of Pivot N Pass, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Emily impressed throughout the game with her movement, determination, and all-round contribution, earning well-deserved recognition for her performance.

The winning teams, Cherry Bombs and Dursley Dolls, both produced confident performances and continue to build momentum as the league progresses.

As the Dursley Sunday League heads into Week 6, there’s still plenty to look forward to. The season continues to bring players together for fun, fast-paced, and enjoyable netball, with every team contributing to a fantastic atmosphere each week.
