Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 11th June

In a thrilling conclusion to the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball league, team Victorious Secret dominated in the League, taking home the championship title in the final week of play.

The last game of the season saw the Victorious Secret team securing victory against Net Seekers with a score of 21-3. This victory served to cement their status as the league leaders, having accumulated a total of 18 points from 9 wins over the course of the season.

However, the most exhilarating match of the week was arguably between Spice Goals and Ilkeston Stars. In a nail-biting finish, Ilkeston Stars managed to edge past Spice Goals with a final score of 19-18. While the result was a bitter pill to swallow for Spice Goals, their star player Shelley Marsh was named the most valued player of the week. Marsh's impressive performance on the court throughout the season has been a key factor in Spice Goals' successful campaign.

In another match of the evening, Stealing Passes secured a comfortable victory against Netballerz, finishing with a scoreline of 23-5. This win highlighted the team's potential and they will undoubtedly be a force to reckon with in the next season.
