Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 19th February

The Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League continued with its thrilling sixth week in the division, and the matches were as electrifying as the crowd had expected. The performances from the teams left everyone there in awe.

The evening kick-started with the charismatic Rutland Comets taking on the Ilkeston Stars. The Comets shone brightly, turning the match in their favor, and winning with a score of 17-5. 

Meanwhile, the Net Seekers, living up to their name, sought and found the net 19 times, leaving Stealing Passes with only four points. The Seekers demonstrated exceptional teamwork and strategic game-play, leaving the Passes trailing in their wake.

In another neck-and-neck battle, Victorious Secret claimed their victory against Spice Goals with a score of 19-14. The game was a splendid display of competitive spirit and sportsmanship as both teams fought hard to tip the scales in their favor.

The spotlight of the evening, however, was on Diane Gregory from the Rutland Comets. An exemplary player, Diane's exceptional skills on the court earned her the title of the week's most valued player.

As the season progresses, the competition is heating up in the Premier League division. With the teams gearing up for the coming weeks, we can look forward to more exciting matches and outstanding performances.
