Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 26th February

In an electrifying evening of sportsmanship and fierce competition, the Ilkeston Wednesday Netball league returned for its seventh week, rolling in some dramatic results that have significantly reshuffled the League rankings.

In a splendid display of prowess, Victorious Secret registered a victory over Ilkeston Stars with a 22-8 scoreline. 

In a closely fought duel, Spice Goals succumbed to Stealing Passes with merely a two-point difference. The match ended 8-6 in favor of Stealing Passes, proving to be a nail-biter till the very last moment and an undeniable highlight of the evening.

However, a highlight performance of the season came from Rutland Comets, who took on Net Seekers and managed a 22-0, marking the highest scoring game of the evening, and stamping the Comets' dominance in the Premier League.

Despite the Result, Net Seekers had something to cheer about as their player, Jackie Botha, was crowned the Most Valued Player of the week. Botha's performance stood out, displaying exceptional skill and leadership on the court. A huge well done to Jackie!
