Ilkeston Wednesday Netball League 26th March

In an electrifying start to the Ilkeston Wednesday's League Netball season, four teams battled it out last night, setting the tone for what promises to be an intensely competitive season.

The opening match saw Spice Goals take on Victorious Secret. Despite a spirited performance, Spice Goals fell just short as Victorious Secret, living up to their name, emerged victorious with a 16-10 victory. 

Next up, Net Seekers clashed with Stealing Passes. With a stunning display of teamwork and swift passing, Stealing Passes outwitted Net Seekers, securing a 15-1 triumph. Net Seekers will undoubtedly look to regroup and bounce back in the next game.

In the final clash of the night, Rutland Comets squared off against Ilkeston Stars. In a thrilling encounter, the Comets sparkled their way to an 18-13 victory over the Stars. However, Ilkeston Stars' Paige Pringle shone the brightest, earning the Most Valued Player of the week. Pringle's stellar performance on the court was a standout, offering hope for the Stars as they navigate the season.

The League's inaugural week was a festival of netball, filled with thrilling matches and captivating performances. As the season progresses, all eyes will be on the top scorers of the division – Victorious Secret, Stealing Passes, and Rutland Comets.
